Drim House is positioned on an elevation commanding fabulous views on the way to Banba's Crown, Malin Head, Ireland's most northerly point. A five bedroom house, well furnished, activities nearby, diving, swimming, surfing, fishing, golf, birdwatching, horseriding, famine village and the Foyle ferries. There is one ferry from Greencastle in the Inishowen Peninsula and there you can visit the Maritime museum and planetarium. This ferry goes across to Magilligan Point in Northern Ireland nearby is the Giants Causeway and The Bushmills Distillery and its a ten minute crossing. The other ferry leaves from Buncrana going to Rathmullan in the Fanad Peninsula, and it is summer only. There are lots of beautiful beaches for walking and also hill walking.
As you arrive at Malin Village take the R242 route to Malin Head which is the coastal road, past the Five Finger Strand Beach, past Dohertys Bar & Shop, stay on the main road past Mullins Shop, past the Church & Hall, past the public telephone kiosk, and it is the first laneway before the Primary School. Usually I get guests to call me when they are coming through Malin Village and I arrange to meet at the Church in Malin Head and then they can follow me to Drim.
