Description :
Selfcatering traditional thatched Irish cottage in peaceful setting, located in Portsalon in the very scenic Fanad Peninsula. Nearby sandy beach and golf links. Traditional Irish kitchen. with flagstone floor and open hearth fire. Victorian parlour. Two double bedrooms upstairs. Current generation of the family home have managed to carefully retain the original features whilst modern comforts have been subtly integrated. Michael or Margaret will be at the cottage and have everything nice for your arrival. Bed linen, towels and fuel for open fire supplied free. Several beautiful sandy beaches and 18 hole golf links.
One of Ireland's most authentic thatched cottages has been in the care of the McElwee family for six generations.

From Letterkenny travelling through Ramelton, Milford, Kerrykeel. Take right at Mount Errigal Hotel to Ramelton - Bear left towards Milford - After Milford Inn turn right for Fanad Peninsula - Turn left in Kerrykeel Village to Portsalon. At second crossroads approximately 4 miles from Kerrykeel turn left.
